The Emergency First Response (EFR) course is first aid training designed to equip participants with the skills needed to act effectively in emergency health or life-threatening situations. Open to everyone, the course requires no prior experience or specific qualifications, making it an excellent choice for divers and non-divers alike who wish to acquire life-saving skills.

Once you've purchased your ticket, you will be informed of the meeting place and time. If you need transportation, it can be booked during the online reservation process (approximate transport cost is €4 in southern Tenerife; exact pricing is provided upon booking).
Location: The dive school is located in Los Cristianos, in the south of Tenerife.
Course Duration:
The course typically lasts 1-2 days and ends with the EFR certification, valid for 2 years. This certificate can be renewed by completing a short refresher course.
Skills Covered:
In the EFR course, participants gain the knowledge and skills needed to:
- Identify health and life-threatening conditions,
- Administer primary first aid, including CPR,
- Handle injuries such as cuts, fractures, bleeding, and other traumas,
- Dress wounds and stabilize injuries,
- Act in emergency situations until professional help arrives.
Course Program:
The EFR course consists of both theoretical and practical parts. In the first part, participants learn basic anatomy and rescue principles. Then, they move on to practical exercises, where they practice first aid techniques and CPR on specialized medical equipment. This provides them with confidence in performing life-saving techniques in controlled conditions.
