Freebird Catamaran Cruise to Dolphins and Whales - 3 hours (P1)

The Freebird is without a doubt the most famous whale watching boat in Puerto Colon. On the site, the company owes this to more than 20 years of experience in organizing Whale Watching Tours in Tenerife. To maintain their excellent reputation, they employ only qualified staff. Therefore, you can expect the captain to be an expert on sailing and marine life during your trip.

The amazing 3-hour Freebird Sightseeing Tour starts at 10:00 AM from the Puerto Colon site in Costa Adeje. From here begins the search for whales and dolphins in the area between Tenerife and La Gomera. During this catamaran cruise, the crew will brief you on the characteristics of whale species in their natural habitat. You will learn about their food, migrations and more. And before we return to the port at 13:00, there will be an opportunity to relax, sunbathe and swim in the ocean.

Our crew is specially trained to work in the natural environment of whales and dolphins. She will try to take you as close to them as possible without disturbing them. However, as it is in nature, we are never 100% sure that we will see them. But we are happy to inform you that on 99% of our trips we encounter whales or dolphins.

Lunch and drinks on the Freebird boat

Unlimited soft drinks, water, beer and sangria are available on every Freebird boat trip. Lunch is also provided on Freebird cruises. The food usually consists of a variety of sandwiches, and a more varied selection will be available on the 4.5-hour Freebird cruise to Masca. Ice cream is not included.

Freebird beds/sofas

Freebird boats have a VIP area with deckchairs. These are beautiful loungers placed in front of the Freebird boat. The cost of sun loungers is currently €5 per person for a 3 hour cruise and €10 per person for a 4.5 hour cruise. Beds cannot be reserved in advance. And the people who are first on board can sign up first.

The cruise along the coast of Tenerife includes:

• Transfer from the south of Tenerife from Los Gigantes to Golf del Sur. When booking, please provide your phone number with country code and the exact address of the hotel or apartment.

Recommendations: take with you

• ID card or passport.
• Reservation number or printed coupon / ticket or on the phone.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap or sunhat.
• If you plan to go swimming, bring a swimsuit and a towel.
• The catamaran is very wave stable, but if you suffer from severe seasickness take the pills.
